Individual Counseling for Adults and Teens
Providers at the practice offer sessions to individuals across the lifespan. The first session is considered the intake session. It consists of discussing practice policies and confidentiality, gathering important information about the client's experience and who they are as a person, and identifying what the client wants to work on in therapy. The intake session is typically about 60 minutes. Each individual follow-up client session is about 60 minutes long. Providers at the practice are currently credentialed, or "in-network" with the following insurance companies: Blue Cross and Blue Shield United Healthcare Harvard Pilgrim Aetna Cigna Tufts Neighborhood Health Plan of RI Rhode Island Medicaid Oscar Health Oxford Health Please verify that the provider you want to work with is credentialed with your insurance specifically. Please also verify your benefits and your cost of treatment with your insurance provider. Plan benefits vary greatly and you must confirm with your plan what the cost of treatment will be and if your plan covers the practice's services. Providers at the practice are considered "out-of-network" with all other insurance plans. We do accept private-pay clients and offer "super-billing" to clients who would like to utilize their out-of-network benefits. Sessions fees are $200 per 60-minute session and $250 for the initial intake session.

Couples Counseling and Family Therapy
Individual clients often discuss a multitude of things in therapy sessions, including conflict between spouses, partners, and family members. It is often helpful for the individual client to have support around these conflicts through couples counseling or family therapy sessions. Providers at the practice can offer limited couples counseling and family therapy to best support individual clients' needs. Some providers also offer couples counseling and family therapy for clients interested in only pursuing these supports. The practice also has a wide variety of referral resources for individual clients should they need to continue couples counseling or family therapy sessions longer term outside of the practice.
